Day 70 -- August 2

Well today was right back into the routine. Went to class, everyone was still blurry eyed from our vacation, I myself was still fairly tired. I did however, get an invite to go see a Chinese opera tomorrow, which for all intents and purposes should be very interesting. It will also be free which is good, because Taizhong was a little bit expensive. The coolest thing that happened today happened late at night. we had a bunch of people in the room and we all just got talking. It was fun to share stories and just chat for a little bit. I finally got to connect with all my roommates and be friendly with some people on my floor. However, I realize that my Japanese and Mandarin are getting really mixed up. Sometimes I would say words that were Japanese but then use Mandarin grammar structure or visa-versa. Learning two languages at once can b a little bit difficult but I am enjoying the challenge. A lot of people think I can not do it, but I disagree. Tomorrow I will hopefully have a story or two from my outing in the Taipei. Until then!
